Saluting after laying a wreath to mark the 100th Anniversary of Miliitary Aviation are U.S. Air Force General Stephen R. Lorenz, left, commander of AETC and Army Maj. Gen. Russell Czerw, commander of Fort Sam Houston. The anniversary celebration of military aviation featured a display of a reproduction Wright Flyer aircraft at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and a flyover of another more air worthy model of the aircraft flown by the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk. On March 2, 1910 Army Lt. Benjamin Foulois made the first military flight at Fort Sam Houston in a Wright Flyer.
