Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026.
Find Any Photo (https://findanyphoto.com) is operated by Wikivec Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we”). By connecting Find Any Photo to an AI assistant or using this website you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account.
What the service does
Find Any Photo searches the catalogue records of photographs held by public archives (Library of Congress collections and US government photographs through their copies on Wikimedia Commons, and NASA's Image and Video Library) and returns the photos that match a description, with links to the archives' own files. Matching is done by an AI model (Google Gemini) reading the archive records, and can return photos that don't show what you asked for; look at each photo before you use it.
Licence information is not legal advice
For each photo we show the licence recorded by the archive, the reason it is public domain and the record we read it from. We don't own the photos and we don't grant you any rights in them. Archive records can be wrong, a photo can show material owned by others (artworks, logos, people's likenesses), and laws differ between countries. You are responsible for checking that your use is lawful. See Licences.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the photos to impersonate or defame real people, or present them as something they aren't in a way that misleads.
- Don't try to get around usage limits, for example with many accounts, or bulk-download the index.
- Don't use the service in breach of any law or of the archives' terms.
Plans and payment
Photo pages, downloads and credit lines are free. Searching is free up to 5 searches a day without an account and 50 a month with one; Pro includes 2,000 a month. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
Availability
The service depends on third parties (the AI assistant you use, the archives, Google and our hosting providers) and may be interrupted or changed. Photos may be removed from the index at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
