Two U.S. Navy Ling-Temco-Vought A-7A Corsair II of Attack Squadron 27 (VA-27) "Royal Maces" ("NK-606") and VA-97 "Warhawks" ("NK-514") await launching from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64) in the Gulf of Tonkin, in August 1968. Both squadrons were assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the Constellation for a deployment to Vietnam from 29 May 1968 to 31 January 1969.
