Actor during The Winds of War TV series filming aboard USS Peleliu (LHA-5) 1981

An actor wearing a World War II flight jacket and an asisstant take a break during the filming of the TV miniseries "The Winds of War" taking place aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA-5) in December 1981. The Peleliu was being used to simulate the World War II aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) in Part VII "Into the Maelstrom" in late 1941.
