Aerial view of the northern community of Baileys Harbor ((far lower left) in Door County, Wisconsin, taken June 27, 2020. Most of the photo is in the town of Baileys Harbor, but a small portion at the top above depicts the southern edge of the town of Liberty Grove. The town border is marked in part by Grove Road (upper left). Also depicted are Mud Lake (center top), southern North Bay (far upper right), Moonlight Bay (center, low), and the northern harbor of Baileys Harbor (lower left) in the town of Baileys Harbor. Recreational areas include the Baileys Habor Town Parks at Anclam Beach, Ridges Beach (near, but not part of:w:The Ridges Sanctuary), Harbor View Park, Bluff End Park, and Lakeshore Park. The Baileys Harbor Boreal Forest and Wetlands are recognized protected areas under the Ramsar Convention. It is partly owned by the Nature Conservancy. Other protected areas open to the public include the Ridges Sanctuary, the University of Wisconsin-Madison land in the Toft Point State Natural Area, and the Wisconsin DNR-owned part of the Baileys Harbor Boreal Forest And Wetlands State Natural Area, and Mud Lake Wildlife Area.
