June 21, 1934. Recently completed public swimming pool in Houma Louisiana, Terrebonne Parish. Written on photo: The new swimming pool in Houma, La., which has just been completed by WPA, was dedicated by American Legion officials. The new pool is 60 by 150 feet in size with a 10-foot paved walk encircling three sides of the pool. It is three to nine feet deep.
