KSC History Exhibition Opens at UN Forces First Battle Memorial in Osan

An A-Frame is on display at the newly opening exhibition, “The Peace They Carried: The Korean Service Corps,” Sept. 18 at the UN Forces First Battle Memorial in Osan. Using these traditional Korean wooden pack frames known as jige, Korean Service Corps members carried ammunition, food and other supplies across rugged terrain that vehicles could not reach during the Korean War. On their return trips they also carried wounded soldiers.
