Living room at the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens in Monroe Louisiana
Living room at the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens in Monroe, a city in northeast Louisiana and the seat of the state’s Ouachita (pronounded WAH-shi-taw) Parish. (Louisiana calls its counties “parishes.”) The Biedenharn is a multifaceted museum complex that features scheduled exhibits, a multitude of events, and mini-museums including one about the Bible and one about the Coca-Cola soft drink. The museum was once the family home of local Coca-Cola bottling company magnate Joseph Biederharn.
