Sloop Wasp-6
Archibald Rogers' sloop Wasp (designed by Nathanael Greene Herreshoff, 1892) was an evolution of the 1891 design Gloriana, with a more pronounced fin and bulb which much the forefoot cut away. She was helmed by Charlie Barr, who led her to win all class races 1892. She is pictured here in the Morgan Cup leg of the New York Yacht Club's annual cruise. *New York Times - With balloon jibs set.
