The Beauty of the KC-135
The sunrise hits the nose of a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing prior to an air refueling mission at RAF Mildenhall, England, Oct. 15, 2025. The KC-135 carries on the legacy of the famed “Bloody Hundredth” from World War II, where the wing suffered countless losses as one of the hardest-hit groups in the Eighth Air Force.
