Training. Ramp boats.
Marines in training at a Southern point learn the technique of landing men and equipment with ramp boats. The squared-ended craft coming in is a ramp boat, a thirty-six-footer made of wood and capable of setting troops and lighter vehicles and guns ashore at beach positions. The manufacturer of the boat cooperates in the training of men. Higgins Industries
