Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry M88 digs an emplacement

On 8 January 1967 Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division joined in Operation "Cedar Falls" as a blocking force along the Saigon River in the Filhol Plantation approx approximately 12 miles North West of Cu Chi, the troops' base camp, which is 27 miles North West of Saigon. An M-88 vehicle track retriever (VTR) using a bulldozer type blade mounted to the front, digs a foxhole emplacement for one of the armored track vehicles in the company. NARA 111-CCV-345-CC38101
