FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (Dec. 7, 2010) William Halleran, a survivor of the Dec. 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, is recognized during a Pearl Harbor Memorial Ceremony at the American Airpower Museum. Halleran, 92, has been making annual appearances at the ceremony for the last decade. This year he was one of four survivors to attend the ceremony. This is the 20th annual ceremony to honor veterans who were at Pearl Harbor during the attack, which marks the time of the attack by dropping roses from an aircraft over the Statue of Liberty.
