View North from observation deck of Louisiana State Capitol, Baton Rouge, Feb 2021

View from the 27th-floor observation deck of the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, one of America's best-known state capitol buildings for two reasons: it is the tallest (the skyscraper-like building rises 34 stories), and it was here that one of the nation's most famous (some would say notorious) governors, populist Huey Long, was assassinated in 1935. This view, looking north, shows part of downtown Baton Rouge and, in the distance, the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery, as of 2020 the fifth-largest oil refinery in the United States. NOTE: no space in ExxonMobil is correct.
