Early Cabin and Corn Crib, LSU Rural Life Museum
An early cabin and corncrib — two of dozens of early houses and other rudimentary structures displayed at the LSU (Louisiana State University) Rural Life Museum, part of the Burden Museum and Gardens complex in Baton Rouge, the capital city of Louisiana. Named "one of the top 10 outdoor museums in the world" by the British Museum, the rural-life museum includes authentially furnished early settlers' buildings and thousands of artifacts displaying various cultures and types of construction.
