AD-4NA takeoff CV-21 1953

A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-4NA Skyraider of fighter squadron VF-194 Main Battery taking off from the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CVA-21) on 1 June 1953. VF-194 was deployed as part of Air Task Group One (ATG-1) aboard the Boxer to Korea from 30 March to 28 November 1953. The squadron was re-designated VA-196 on 4 May 1955.
