F6F-5Ks launch CV-21 AD-2D NAN11-52
A Grumman F6F-5K Hellcat drone is launched from the port catapult of the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CV-21) during the Korean War in 1952. Two Douglas AD-2D Skyraider drone control planes are waiting to be launched. The F6F-5Ks were used as guided "missiles", but produced only meagre results.
