Columns at LSU Rural Life Museum by Highsmith
Nothing fell here. These columns, which once helped support the 1902 Hill Memorial Library in downtown Baton Rouge, the capital city of Louisiana, were detatched in sections and saved when the building was demolished to make way for a new state library in 1956. The columns were later moved to this location at the LSU (Louisiana State University) Rural Life Museum, part of the Burden Museum and Gardens complex across town.
