Former German radar station at WN 74 in Normandy (France), 18 June 1945
The former German radar station "Igel" at Widerstandsnest 74a (WN 74a) just west of "Omaha Beach" in Calvados, Normandy (France), on 18 June 1945. Note the two FuMG.65 Würzburg Riese radars still in place and the objects on the beach, probably parts of the "Mulberry A" artificial harbour that was heavily damaged by a storm 19-22 June 1944.
